2014 Masters Infographic
1) Azalea, or hole 13, is a dogleft left Par 5 and is 510 yards long. This week it was the easiest hole on the course, with the average score being 4.7.
Bubba Watson hit a driver and a pitching wedge during his final round to reach green in 2.
2) 1.5 putts – Rickie Fowler averaged just 27 putts per round. Sadly he did not head the table for Greens In Regulation, otherwise he would have been very close to winning.
3. 53 Greens In Regulation – Jordan Spieth, the 20 year old Masters rookie was the most consistent player from tee to green. Jordan reached 73.61% of greens in regulation. If you could combine Jordan’s GIR stats and Rickie Fowler’s putting then you might just have had a winning combination.
4. 874 birdies were recorded over the four days. The hardest hole at Augusta National was the par 4 11th. At 505 yards it gave up just 10 birdies.
